Tim's Bio

Where it all started:

Yo! My name is Tim Kron. I started taking pictures out of curiosity in 1995 when I received my first 35mm Olympus film camera. Although photography was just a hobby at that point, I stuck with it and began figuring stuff out. In 2000, my wife Keri bought me a digital camera and my love for photography was well on its way to becoming more than a hobby. Then, I had a game changer moment when I bought a new Sony a6300 mirrorless camera, it was full on after that.

I have always been a gear head. I have spent countless hours and dollars attending car and bike shows, swap meets, and building fast cars and trucks. I always found the photos in Hot Rod magazine to be very inspiring and before long, I was combining my passion for photography and my love cars, trucks, and motorcycles taking photos for friends and other car show enthusiasts.

Music has always been a huge part of my life. So naturally I started taking concert photos whenever I could. I met Chad and Drake one night at 1175 Sports Park and Eatery. We talked gear, and techniques, then exchanged numbers. After checking out my work, Chad called and asked if I would be interested in shooting a few shows with them. We have been shooting together ever since. Working for CAH Promotions has really helped me improve my concert skills. I cannot thank Chad and Drake enough. I still feel like one of the luckiest people on earth every time I get to shoot a concert.

"There is no such thing as a dumb question; just dumb ego preventing you from asking it."
